Marissa, our ten year old wonderful niece, has decided she wants to raise money for WaterCan. She took it upon herself to send an email to the folks at WaterCan asking that they come to the school and speak to the students, which they have graciously agreed to do. With her mom’s help, she ordered brochures, posters, stickers and is distributing them. Because of Marissa’s initiative, the school will be fundraising for WaterCan.

It is wonderful to see someone so young taking the initiative to make a difference in the world. Thank you sweetheart!!! We love you very, very much and are so proud of you. We’ll be thinking of all your hard work as we pedal our way down to Cape Town. You are an inspiration to us.
