Talent Show Angst

We know from reading past blogs that the TDA organizes various parties and other events to keep everyone entertained. From a couple of the blogs, we suspect that there may even be a talent show. This has us a little concerned as we have no idea what we would do if we were called upon to entertain. We can’t carry a tune, all the moves in our dance repertoire are from the 80’s (nobody wants to see that), we can’t twirl a baton, can’t juggle, can’t make a rabbit appear out of a hat. We are, unfortunately, talentless, sans talent, bereft of any skill or gift, nada, nothing. Well…I lie. Spiros did learn how to play the accordion as a child. Stop snickering, the accordion is a fine instrument, unless of course you are a twelve year old boy into Led Zeppelin. He wanted to learn to play the guitar, however his music teacher convinced his parents that to properly learn to play the guitar, one most first master the accordion. I am sure this was not at all coloured by the fact that she did not teach the guitar. FYI, you may not want to bring this up…he is still a little bitter.

Sigh… “The Hammer Dance” it is. Please accept our apologies in advance.
