Hi folks! We’re alive and well in Cairo. The past couple of days has been a whirlwind; flights, sightseeing, unpacking, putting bikes together, meeting new friends…and of course, talking, speculating and daydreaming about the days to come. We have seen and done so much, and have tons to tell you about…unfortunately I only have about 10 minutes to finish this blog. In short: 1) Cairo is a crazy place 2) No sleep, too much caffeine and too much sugar makes you stupid. ![]()
We leave tomorrow morning. We’ll tell you all about it in a couple of days. Bye for now!

Hi Maria & Spiro,
Roger here. Maria, don’t know if you remember me from IW. We worked together on the Gentoo project if I remember correctly.
Anyway I found your link on Shnewt’s website and thought I’d drop you a line.
I see you’re on a great adventure. I hope you both enjoy it (I’m sure you will) and I look forward to reading about your adventures.
Take care and have fun!
