We’ve been cycling for about 2 weeks now and I have to say we have really loved getting down to the basics, eat, sleep and ride. Everyone in our nomadic community has pretty much settled into life out of a little red box. Sounds crazy, but I highly recommend it. It’s amazing how much more you enjoy the simple things…like tarmac, a coke stand and a chance to wash your hair. Oh…and finding a forgotten snickers bar in the middle of the night when you’re trying to prepare a blog entry?….well, that’s enough to send you over the moon! Yup, as tired as we may get, or as challenging things become we are really loving this.
I figured something out too. Ever since we decided to go on this journey, and especially since we started, there have been countless times that I have had to push myself out of my comfort zone…light years out of my comfort zone. Somewhere along the line, I figured out that being outside of your comfort zone is much more fun than being trapped in it.

Hi Alisha
Thank you for writing to us. We really like Snickers bars so haven’t gotten tired of it yet.
We also eat a lot of other foods to stay healthy and to have enough energy to bike all day. Lots of water is also important.
Thank you again

Hi Erika
Thank you! We have cycled about 2000 km so far, a very long distance but we have not gotten bored of it yet. We really like cycling and the places we have gone to are very interesting. The people we have met have been very friendly and welcoming.
Thank you again.
