Muffler or Chicken Tikka?

We arrived in Arusha today. As usual, we were starving so the first order of business after finding a hotel was finding food. We were directed to Khan’s Barbeque; automotive parts dealer by day, Indian Barbeque by night. :D Gotta love that!!!!

Khan’sDuring the day, they sell mufflers, oil filters, spark plugs and the like. At night, the barbeque comes out and they serve up mounds of salads, naan breads, barbequed meats and other Indian treats. As far as I’m concerned, just getting to eat at such an establishment is cool enough. The fact that the food was awesome is a bonus!

Tomorrow, we head off on a 6 day safari in the Serenegti. YAY!!!! The rains have come early, so the landscape should be very lush green, and there should be lots of animals to see. I’ll stop now before I jinx it. Pics when we get back.
