I was going to wait until the end of the tour to do another edition of the “Best of/Worst of”, but this one was just too funny to wait that long, (almost peed in my pants when I heard this one). Here goes:
Best Dumb Mzungu Story
Rider A is riding by herself on the Elephant Highway, all the while keeping a careful eye out for elephants. She spots an animal off in the distance and shrieks “Baby Elephant!” She then hears rustling on the opposite side of the road. “Oh shoot! Momma elephant!” she shouts. Terrified that she is about to be trampled by an angered mama elephant, she panics, gets off her bike and flags down a car. “What should I do? Can you help me?” she pleads. The driver looks at her, looks ahead at what she was pointing at, looks at her again and replies “Those aren’t elephants madam, those are cows”.
