Sometimes it’s really nice to be far, far away from computers, TV and newspapers. Others days, it’s good to have access and know what’s going on in the world. Like when you turn on the TV after a few days of cycling in remote areas and find out that a state of emergency has been declared in the country that you are currently in because protesters wanting to overthrow the government have taken over the airport. “Huh….imagine that. Think we should call home?”
For the record, we never saw any protests or problems and never ever felt in any kind of danger but thanks for the emails.
