Somewhere on their route, Henrik and Louise met a man doing some volunteer work in the area. There had been some severe flooding, so he went to some of the affected villages with rice and other supplies to help out. He came across one home where the waterline was several feet high, surely the damage had been severe. When he asked them how they were doing, they said “Pretty good”. They threw a net over the doorway, caught a ton of fish and sold them at the market.
Wow, talk about making lemonade when life deals you lemons.
